La guerre, l’ amour, la mort
Le compositeur a voulu exprimer dans cette suite électro-symphonique, la misère sous ses diverses formes : misère de la guerre,  misère sociale, mais aussi  misère intellectuelle et misère affective. On y retrouve l’Homme avec ses peurs et ses lâchetés, mais aussi avec sa bonté et sa générosité.
 
Argument
 
LA GUERRE (titres 1 à 4)
Cette première partie évoque les états d’âme d’un homme sur le point de s’engager, l’’horreur de la guerre, la folie  qui en résulte et enfin le retour à la vie, dans un long crescendo.
 
L’ AILLEURS, L’AMOUR (titres 5 à 11)
Cette partie décrit l’enfer rencontré autrefois dans les comptoirs coloniaux de l’Afrique, ou dans les usines du début de l’ère industrielle américaine, et par opposition, l’amour et l’espoir  que l’on y retrouve toujours présent.
 
 LA MISERE, LA MORT (titres 12 à 16)
Cette dernière partie évoque la misère et la violence que l’on rencontre dans certaines banlieues de grandes villes. Elle évoque aussi l’homme confronté après l’amour, à la vanité de sa vie passée. .Elle suggère finalement une approche calme et sereine de la mort.

War, love and death
The aim of the composer was to express in this electro-symphonic suite, the misery in its various forms : misery of the war, social misery, but also intellectual and affective misery.. You will find Man with his fears and  cowardice, but also with his  goodness and generosity.
Argument
WAR (titles 1 to 4)
1-Enlistment   2-The battle  3-Madness  4-Recovery
This first part evokes the internal thoughts of a man before deciding to enlist, the horror of war, the madness resulting from the confrontation with war, and finally man emerging from madness and coming back to life in a  long crescendo.
 
ELSEWHERE, LOVE  (titles 5 to 11)
5-Towards Africa  6-The trading post  7-An angel in Hell  8-On the river 
9-Towards America  10-New-York  11-A woman in love
This part shows antinomies between Hell met in old times african colonial trading posts as well as in the factories of the beginning of the american industrial era, and hope and love always present.
 
WRETCHEDNESS, DEATH  (titles 12 to 16)
12 Wretchedness and poverty  13-Funeral march  14-Erotism and ghosts 
15-Tragic fair  16-To the end of life.
This last part evokes the misery and the violence met in some suburbs of big towns. It evokes also Man confronted, after love, with the vanity of his passed life. It finally suggests an approach of death with calm and serenity.
